Japanese Flag

Here is the Japanese flag. It is a white flag with a red circle in the middle.

Japan is called "Land of the Rising Sun" because the sun rises in the east and it sets in the west. If you lived in China or Korea, you would always think that the sun rises over Japan.

The red dot in the middle of the flag represents the sun.
